EP Review: Tumble – Lost In Light (Echodelick Records / Stickman Records)
Toronto power trio Tumble is set to release their debut EP, ‘Lost In Light’, on May 2, 2025, through Echodelick Records (US) and Stickman Records (EU).

A cool EP that takes on a proto-rock form, albeit one twisted by strong psychedelic flavours, Lost in Light is hypnotic. That’s the word that comes to mind, and while it does command the attention over its twenty-minute runtime, it’s still an undeniably groovy listen.
Five tracks, five examples of Tumble’s imagination running wild. Beginning with the laborious Laid By Fear, a track that shows off the three-piece’s ability to get weird, while being utterly addictive. If you want one singular taste of this band, this is the track to play. Although you’d be a fool to miss out on the energised rocker that is The Less I Know and riffy Dead By Rumour.
Although memorable riffs are part of this band’s entire make-up, a point proven by the following body-shaker that is Sullen Slaves. This track, more than any other, sounds like it could have been recorded live, which does give Tumble a bit more authenticity as rockers. After all, music like this is made for sweaty venues. Which, when you consider the soloing that comes at the end of the track, feels more like a guarantee. You will sweat to this.
One highlight after another, the EP comes to a satisfying close with Wings of Gold. If you’ve loved everything you’ve heard up to this point, then you’ll be completely on board with the infectious rhythms of this one.
A stellar debut.
