Horror Short Review: I’ve Seen (2025)
Directed by Jeffrey Maradiaga and Seb Garcia, I’ve Seen is a horror short starring Angel Colon and Jose Salvador. Telling a unique story in concise fashion and rising above its ‘nothing’ budget to produce something decent, albeit confusing.
One late evening, a young man who is going through some letters (we see the NASA heading) is startled by his home shaking as though an earthquake is occurring. A beam of red light then comes on, causing papers to float in the air, so he runs outside only to find himself caught in the beam.
Then, suddenly, he’s on stage in a near-empty theatre accepting a science award he has already won, all seemingly for the amusement of a sinister figure sitting in the shadows.
That’s about the best I can give you, as this short makes very little sense. Yet, it’s delivered with gusto and flair, giving it a ‘Twin Peaks’ vibe to some degree. I can’t promise you that you’ll like it, but you will it.
