Horror Short Review: DOPPELGÄNGER (2023)

They’re coming for you, watch out. DOPPELGÄNGER is a horror short film by Leger Taylor. It stars Reed Keenan & Aiden Rogers.

At only two and half minutes long, DOPPELGÄNGER does not hang about, showing a young man named Reed returning home. He has headphones on (listening to Post Malone) and is completely in his own world. To the point where he doesn’t hear, or acknowledge his housemate, Aiden, who tries to get his attention regarding some news regarding reports of doppelgängers.

He should probably have paid attention.

This is a well-made horror short with some creep factor, delivering a frightful ending that leaves you wanting more. It’s amateurish, notably with the sound more than anything else, but that doesn’t take away from the hard work and talents of everyone involved. It’s well worth checking out, especially as it is so short.
