Horror Short Review: The Tunnel (2022)

What is it about foot tunnels that can be so creepy? They’re so mundane, nothing more than a means to cross from one area to another, yet they can be some of the creepiest places on earth. Which is what The Tunnel seeks to utilise with its frightening tale about a man who decides to go through a tunnel while out for a jog.

Directed by Alex Spear & Andrew Clabaugh, with the latter writing and starring, alongside Jordan Frechtman. The Tunnel is one of those delightful horror shorts that builds tension and pays it off in memorable fashion. It’s a nightmarish experience, the kind that no-one would ever want to find themselves in, and the horror just keeps on ramping up as it goes on.

A must watch as it guarantees you’ll think twice before you head into a tunnel next time.
