EP Review: Vader – Humanihility (Nuclear Blast Records)
Legendary death metal band Vader return with their new EP ‘Humanihility’, released 30th May via Nuclear Blast Records.
Decades in the heavy metal game, and producing some of their finest music these days, Vader’s new EP is a short and sharp release. Featuring three hefty head bangers based in the thrash and death world, Humanihility goes f**king hard. From the smashing and crashing ferocity of Genocide Designed, where Vader’s eye-watering speed is on display and several roaring guitar solos cut through the mind like a hot knife through butter. To the aptly titled Rampage, which finds Vader in a bludgeoning mood, delivering an intense two-minute blast of savagery.
Finally, it’s Unbending. The official anthem of Poland’s renowned Mystic Festival. A dynamic blast of crunching heavy metal that guarantees everyone who hears it will be head banging. It’s not complex music, but who cares, when it hits as hard as it does! Big riffs, pounding drums, some atmosphere, vocals that have so much power, and of course, wicked guitar soloing.
It’s another belter of a release from Vader!
